With a very sporty driving style and track use, the limit of standard brake discs quickly comes into play. This results in an overheated braking system and possible deformation of the brake discs. The Brembo HPK brake discs are fully floating and thicker than standard. This allows more braking energy to be processed for more consistent braking performance and allows the brake disc to expand and contract without permanent deformation. It is not without reason that the top teams in the Supersport World Championship achieve the best results with the Brembo HPK brake discs.
